I started Press On 6 to grow a powerful network within the blood cancer community. My secret formula is by doing so with a special touch of my Dad's charm and positive energy. His legacy will shine and continue to live on through the Press On 6 community. He was my hero, best friend and mentor- everyone deserves to have this special person in their life.

My personal experiences with cancer and the statement that “one is diagnosed but many are impacted” is why I believe so strongly in Press On 6 and the power of community.
I know this community will be built by supporting and helping each other through the personal challenges and uncertainty that come along in this all too familiar world. Keep it positive and keep moving the chains.

Cancer is only part of me. It's not all of me.
At 31, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). An unexpected and heartbreaking curveball. I channeled into my passion to connect. I have a daughter and family to show up for. A life to continue living. Opportunities waiting for me. I'm grateful to be a part of the PO6 community. I'm here to connect and provide resources and support. And to show up for patients and loved ones navigating blood cancer.

Throughout my life I’ve had a few different experiences with cancer that have touched me personally and the community around me. From those encounters I've learned that there is so much strength, knowledge, and power that transpires from people coming together. To have Press On 6 as a hub for connecting a community to the resources and support they may or may not have ever known they needed during such a trying time is a game changer.

Blood cancer has been apart of my life ever since my father was diagnosed when I was in the 6th grade. Carrying his perseverance and his awareness, I believe Press On 6 foundation will continue to live out his dreams for the community. Creating a space and an outlet where individuals can feel supported while going through some of the toughest times of their lives.

As a witness of close family members and dear friends who have been diagnosed with cancer, watching them navigate through their challenges is what fuels my passion for this cause. PressOn6 is a way to make powerful connections to support those who must navigate this often scary and lonely path. Bringing positivity, hope and a true sense of community is the goal. Press On 6 is a winning team and I am honored to be a small part of it.
