Our Mission
Established in 2019, Press On 6 is a growing community built around the stories and experiences of patients and their loved ones, supporting them through and beyond blood cancer. We communicate authenticity, spread awareness, and support patients and loved ones.
What We Do
Our goal is to give our community a safe space to build their own network of support with others who share similar (or very different) experiences. From personal experience, we recognize that everyone has their own unique story to tell, and sharing it with others who may "get you" is comforting.
We believe in the power of our community. Surrounding yourself with the right people leads to a way forward.
Life tests you- you can't control that. But you can choose what you do next.
Why
The PressOn6 Foundation began in response to a need for community, education, and understanding for blood cancer patients and loved ones. The building blocks of PO6 reflect the power of positivity and belief that community is a superpower. A relatable community can provide purpose and a better understanding- leaving you to feel a little less alone.We take our inspiration from Chris Crawford, who was diagnosed with blood cancer, Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS). He took the opportunity to live his life fully. For him, it was simply a choice about how he wanted to be in the world, and the shockwave of his positivity served as a light to all who met him. PressOn6 exists to carry on his legacy, lending strength, courage and support to those navigating through and beyond blood cancer.
